If you’re a hijabi, we understand your obsession with the eyeliner. Kohl has been part of muslim culture for both men and women and depiction of muslim women have traditionally been a veiled woman with heavily lined exotic looking eyes. Eyeliner or rather, kohl originated in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia although back then, it was for protection from the elements and the 'evil eye'.
The eyeliner has come a long way since. From the days of lead, ash and charcoal ( imagine the smudge ! ) to the invention of the modern eyeliner, only the flick remains an issue, for us at least :P.
So its an understatement that we are excited about this product. We're pretty broken hearted that it’s not out yet, but hey, where do we sign up for the waiting list?
